newcut.ai turns hours of raw multi-camera event footage, exactly as it comes off the cards, into a finished highlight film.
It works out what happened at the event first, so the film follows the real story. It picks the best shots and cuts them to music made for that event, or to your own music if you prefer. A short brief can steer it. There are no templates: every choice comes from the footage itself.
The same cut also comes as a Premiere or Resolve timeline, so an editor can refine anything they want.

Does it organize the footage?
Yes, by the stages and moments of the event, not by card and filename.
Does it sync multicam?
Yes. Every camera is lined up as closely as the footage allows, so the film can cut between angles of the same moment.
People
Do I have to tag who's who?
No. It works out from the footage who the couple, family and key guests are. It never needs names and never looks anyone up.

Does it decide how long each part of the event runs?
Yes, by what the film needs, not by how much was shot.
Does it find the right moment inside a long take?
Yes, down to the couple of seconds that belong in the film.
Can I steer it?
Optionally, with your own music or a short brief, including how long the film should be.
Music and speech
What if I don't have music?
It can make tailored music for the event, lyrics included.
Is the music edited too?
Yes, like the picture: songs are matched to the footage, and cuts and fades land on the beat.
Does it duck the music under speech?
Yes, wherever the source audio matters, and brings it back after.
Does it understand what's being said?
Yes, even on camera mics, and what's said can decide which shot makes the cut.
Does it ever cut someone off mid-sentence?
No, cuts land between phrases and don't split words.

A full, time-coded log of the footage exists for every film. If you want it, get in touch.
Privacy and delivery
Where does my footage go?
It stays on the computer that makes your film. Optionally, some text is sent to an online service to speed things up. Never video or audio.
How do I get footage to you?
Sign in with your Google account and upload it directly on this website. When your film is ready, download the output folder, put it next to your footage, and the timeline links straight to your files, with nothing to relink.
What it doesn't do yet
Search. You can't search the footage for a moment yet. It's coming.
