Terms

Last updated 10 October 2026

These terms cover your use of newcut.ai and any work we do on your footage. By using the website or sending us footage, you agree to them.

Who we are

newcut.ai is run by Nishant Mehta (LinkedIn). Contact: hello@newcut.ai.

What we do

From the footage you send, we make a highlight film and a Premiere or Resolve timeline. Free runs cost nothing. Any paid work will be agreed with you in writing before it starts.

Your project's agreement

When you upload footage, you accept an agreement for that project. It sets out how we use, share and keep your footage and what we make from it. Where it differs from these terms, that agreement applies.

Your footage and your film

You own your footage, and you own the film and timeline we make from it. You give us permission to use your footage only as your project's agreement and our privacy policy describe.

newcut.ai itself, including its software and name, stays ours.

Your responsibilities

Deletion

How long we keep your footage and what we make from it is set by your project's agreement. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Confidentiality

We treat your footage as confidential, and use and share it only as your project's agreement allows.

No guarantees

We work hard on every film, but newcut.ai is provided as is. We can't promise that every film or timeline will be free of mistakes, or delivered by a particular date unless we agree one in writing. Please review each film before sharing it with your clients.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost business or lost profit. Our total liability for any work is limited to the amount you paid us for it. For free runs, we accept no liability.

Stopping

You can stop at any time and ask us to delete your footage. We can decline or stop any work, and if we do, we will delete your footage.

Changes and law

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction.
